About the Job

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and building solutions and components using C#, ASP.NET MVC and other technologies to support and enhance an existing multi-user, web based application for one of our insurance customers.

Experience with the following:

  • C# with strong emphasis on best practices using OOP/Object/Component oriented design and programming
  • ASP.NET MVC and/or WPF
  • Telerik Kendo UI
  • HTML / CSS
  • JSON
  • Ajax
  • JQuery
  • JavaScript
  • Git/TFS
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies


  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • M.S. in relevant field, or Microsoft certifications preferred

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of demonstrated MS .NET, ASP.NET, C# design and development experience
  • Strong demonstrated UI experience with Kendo UI (Telerik), AJAX, JQuery, and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Full SDLC experience, including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support
  • Current middle-tier experience with OData/REST services, WCF, LINQ, Entity Framework
  • Current data-tier experience with MS SQL Server (TSQL, stored procedures)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team of software developers


  • Effectively build and maintain relationships with project managers and stakeholders regarding business and process requirements throughout the full development lifecycle
  • Be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Actively participate in agile/scrum software development activities
  • Recording work progress on a weekly basis
  • Documentation (technical and end-user)
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills while maintaining and supporting multiple projects and deadlines
